Company portrait AviAlliance
AviAlliance is one of the world's leading private industrial airport investors and managers. The company has built up an attractive and balanced portfolio, with shareholdings in the airports of Athens, Budapest, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and San Juan (Puerto Rico). In 2019, these airports together handled 94 million passengers. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the aggregate passenger volume of all five airports in 2020 dropped to 28 million. That corresponds to a year-on-year fall of 70.3 percent, which is on a level with the decline in passenger figures in all the European airports together; in 2020 this was 70.4 percent.
AviAlliance develops airports into efficient, service-oriented and user-friendly enterprises. This involves the ongoing optimization of business and operational processes and making the best possible use of existing potential. AviAlliance is committed to far-sighted planning aligned to each airport's scope for long-term development.
