Important transport hub for the energy sector: Aberdeen International Airport
Aberdeen International Airport is an important hub of transport
for the UK economy as a whole and in
particular for the energy sector. It is located in an attractive catchment area
in the seaport city in northeast Scotland and registers stable volumes of
traffic. The airport has been wholly owned by AviAlliance since January 2025.
As well as a main passenger terminal, Aberdeen International Airport has four helicopter terminals and is one of the busiest helicopter hubs in the world.
